Welcome to our service. By accessing or using our application, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.
Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using this service, you acknowledge that:
- You have read and understood these terms
- You agree to comply with all provisions
- You are legally able to enter into this agreement
- You are at least 18 years old
- You will use the service in accordance with all applicable laws
Account Rules
To maintain a safe and reliable service, you must:
- Provide accurate information when creating your account
- Keep your account secure with a strong password
- Maintain one account per person - duplicate accounts may be suspended
- Protect your login credentials and not share them with others
We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these terms without prior notice.
Billing and Payments
The current iOS release does not offer purchases. Blind Pear may offer an optional auto-renewing Premium subscription on other supported platforms. Where Premium is offered:
- The applicable store shows the localized price, subscription period, and renewal terms before purchase.
- Premium renews automatically unless you cancel it through the applicable store before the next renewal.
- Canceling stops future renewals. Premium access normally continues until the end of the paid period, subject to the applicable store's rules and any refund.
- Deleting your Blind Pear account does not cancel the store subscription, and canceling the subscription does not delete your Blind Pear account.
- Refunds and price changes are governed by the applicable store's terms and applicable law.
- Premium changes feature limits and filters; it does not guarantee matches, replies, recommendations, or profile reveals.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Break laws or regulations in your jurisdiction
- Infringe copyrights or intellectual property rights
- Share harmful content including malware or viruses
- Hack or disrupt the service or its infrastructure
- Abuse support or harass other users
- Scrape or data mine without written permission
Content Policy
The following content is strictly prohibited:
- Illegal materials of any kind
- Harmful or abusive content targeting individuals or groups
- Spam or unsolicited advertising
- Malware, viruses, or malicious code
- Content that violates others' privacy or rights
Intellectual Property
Ownership and rights:
- We own the application, design, and related intellectual property
- You own the content you create and upload
- You grant us a license to use your content for service operation
- We respect intellectual property rights and respond to DMCA notices
Service Availability
Please note:
- Service is provided "as is" without warranties
- We do not guarantee 100% uptime
- Scheduled maintenance will be announced in advance
- We are not liable for service interruptions
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages
- Our total liability is limited to fees paid in the last 12 months
- We do not guarantee data accuracy or availability
Termination
Either party may terminate this agreement:
- You can delete your account at any time in the app
- We may suspend accounts for terms violations
- In-app account deletion normally runs immediately. Verified email requests are completed within 30 days. Some message and transaction records may be retained as explained in the Privacy Policy.
- Subscription renewals continue until canceled through the applicable store; deleting your Blind Pear account does not cancel them.
Changes to Terms
We may modify these terms:
- Changes will be posted on this page
- Notice will be sent via email for material changes
- Continued use constitutes acceptance of new terms
